1. Application Process

If you need to build a prototype, software, website, an app or enhance an existing product - Apply to VenturePact. After we have found the most passionate entrepreneurs, we then find the optimal cash and equity structure for each startup.


2. Incubation Phase

As owners, we have aligned incentives with the startups. On the tech side, we build a high quality product in a timely manner. On the business side, we introduce portfolio companies to VCs, to students, and to businesses.

3. Fellows Program

Portfolio companies will always be part of the Fellows Program both during and after the incubation phase. Startups can tap into our large pool of designers, developers and business students to help them with projects and to hire great talent.


4. Post Incubation Phase

VenturePact Alumni can continue to interact with past, future, & current portfolio companies. They can reach out to us for additional feedback, introductions or to build add-on software and further enhance their product.
About
We want to make it less troublesome for entrepreneurs to build their products. As entrepreneurs ourselves, we realized that engineering talent is scarce & expensive and outsourcing is marred by misaligned incentives. Hence, we devised VenturePact, a partnership structure that helps startups develop technology. We are students at the University of Pennsylvania and our engineering teams are located in different regions across the world.
Co-founders
Randy Rayess
studies Finance and Statistics at Wharton and is pursuing a Masters in Systems Engineering at UPenn. He has worked in technology private equity at Silver Lake Partners and at startups in the social media, statistics, financial services and transaction processing sectors.
Pratham Mittal
studies Systems Engineering and Political Science at UPenn. He founded a news aggregation startup, Newsance, which is an alumni of Wharton School’s Venture Initiation Program. He has worked at Host Committee, an event planning startup and is the organizer of a social impact hackathon called Hack the Change.
