To achieve this task we used . Through wifi via Sockets the phones are connected to the main phone, and it in return connects with the car app-link.

Results achieved:

Caraoke took part in the Ford hackathon, which was hosted in Tel Aviv. This was an interesting and valuable experience for KindGeek.

Brewery Buddy helps you prepare the perfect beer. It allows you to calculate how much ingredients you need, what kind of ingredients you need and even how much it will cost you. You can either choose from the available recipes or add your own.

So KindGeek`s task was to develop a tool, that would transfer all calculations concerning the creation of the recipes and editing them. The calculations should take into account how many hops, yeast, grain is needed, how much water and other spices you need. Also, the temperature at what you need to brew beer and the percentage of alcohol we get in the end has to be calculated automatically.

Grafter is a cost-saving service that provides businesses with a possibility to find, book, and pay short-term workers directly, avoiding inconvenient intermediaries. On the other hand, if you are a contingent worker, who can’t find a job, Grafter will assist you as well.

Development approach:
The team realized that the application would be potentially used by dozens of thousands of people, who would use it to find employees or employers. Therefore, organizing efficient and convenient search was one of the primary challenges that developers faced. For this purpose, the team used Elasticsearch engine and AWS cloud service to store all the data.

Results:
Grafter is an online worker network where employers and employees can interact and arrange work. Currently, the project covers 6 industries: Building & construction, Farming & Landscaping, Leisure & Events, Industry & Business, Driving & Logistics, General & Other, which includes retail and cleaning services as well.

The backbone of the project is an IBM Hyperledger blockchain platform. The modern education is not as modern as it should or could be, considering the rapid technologization of the world. Some educational establishments realize the necessity to follow the trend for the sake of flexibility and relevance. The University of Basel decided to make another significant step on the path of modernization and implement a system that will give the students of Medical Faculty a possibility to pass exams remotely. BeAXi: Web provides the university with the online platform for the remote examinations of different types.

Development approach:
The team decided to use sprint planning to achieve the maximum performance and let a product owner to directly influence the workflow and make adjustments. As far as BeAxi:Web was relatively a short-term project, the SCRUM manager had chosen one-week sprints to minimize risks and boost the productivity of the team. The daily meetings with the customers were conducted to keep them informed about the status of the project. Such an approach had been chosen due to the specifics of the project. BeAxi:Web was a “two-fold” application, meaning that the team has to consider the experience of the students, who would pass the examinations, and University’s employees, who would manage the exams. The developers had to ensure that on both sides of the equation there would be an intuitive and reliable interface for the best user experience and maximum effectiveness.

Results:
Students obtained a convenient service for passing the exams remotely while the University’s employees a useful tool for creating and managing different types of quizzes. At first, university employee creates an exam in the Exam Manager, deciding the type of questions and their quantity. The questions may include multiple choice questions, gap questions, dropdown menu questions, or ones that require from a student to watch a video, listen to an audio recording, or look at a picture. Afterward, a student can login to the website, using his or her credentials, and pass the exam. The project is flexible and adaptable and can be implemented by other educational establishments as well. Back end of the service was written in PHP, using Laravel framework while the front end was created with Angular. As far as SeeknSpeak would have to store significant amounts of video information, the developers decided to use servers of AWS due to the reliability of this cloud computing service.

Results:
SeeknSpeak is a job-seeking tool that also provides users with a possibility of live online communication via video messages. A company uploads video with an accurate description of the vacancy. The Medical Faculty of the University of Basel keeps up with the world and decides to implement digital technologies on different levels. MedMe is yet another stage of this initiative. It is a web resource that automates the process of creation and managing of exams schedules, devoiding personnel of some aspects of this exhaustible routine.

Development approach:
The main focus of the team was to come up with the most optimal interface for managing schedules to ensure pleasant experience and effective performance of the employees who will work with MedMe. It was quite a challenging task as the project would deal with large amounts of different data. As a result of quick brainstorm sessions, developers decided to use React and React DnD in particular to create the best interface solution.

Results:
MedMe helps to generate schedules for all faculties within the university considering availability of resources and staff. The project also manages data about availability of hospitals and simulated patients, which, sometimes, take part in medical examinations too.
